Sebastian Rivera, a New Jersey state champion at CBA and an NCAA All-American at Northwestern in 2018, had the biggest win of his career Sunday night in the Midlands Championships at Hoffman Estates, Ill.
Rivera, a redshirt sophomore, defeated defending 125-pound national champion Spencer Lee of Iowa 7-3 in the finals and will likely move to the No. 1 spot in the NCAA rankings at 125 pounds, according to Steven Falk of the Asbury Park Press.
Princeton also had two champions in Matthew Kolodzik and Patrick Brucki .
